According to UK-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) by subject areas, based on 2017 results, METU is the only listed Turkish University in the field of education. QS rankings were determined based on "Academic Reputation", "University Reputation", "Citation Ratios" and "H-Index", a metric for the impact of academic studies.
